Using a mixture of simple narrative and Makaton signing, our highly engaging sensory storytelling experiences are easy to follow and playful so that participants can be a part of the story.
Each section of the story is accompanied by a sensory moment (using visual, tactile or sound elements) to help engage students and bring the story to life.
Join our travelling sensory storyteller and their wise old Owl (puppet) as they take you on a journey through some of the lesser-known Grimm Fairy Tales.
Using chants, rhymes, repetition and song our storyteller will draw you into an enchanting fairy tale world bringing to life each narrative using Makaton signing and sensory props.
As humans and animals talking together is a common occurrence in the Grimms’ tales, the audience is encouraged to join in by using puppets and fun sensory objects to help them tell the ‘tail’.

- 4 x 30 minute sessions
- (Recommended participants per session = 15 maximum 20)
